UCHE EVARIS COMPANY’S GENERAL PRAYER

On the tranquil Sunday afternoon immediately after the heavy showers on 12th May 2024, Uche Evaris Oil and Gas Global Ltd congregated at her garage in Alaojii, Ugwunagbo LGA,  Abia State for her quarterly prayer session. As the sun peeked through the clouds, illuminating the gathering with its warmth rays, employees from different sectors and community members assembled with hearts united in reverence and hope.

Led by the Company’s Spiritual Director in the person of Mr. Titus Ifeanyi John Egbusionu followed by Uche Evaris himself, the founder and visionary behind the company, the prayer commenced with a praise and worship section accompanied with a moment of reflection and gratitude. Expressions of thanksgiving filled the air as individuals acknowledged the blessings of health, provision and the opportunity to serve within the oil and gas industry.

With heads bowed low and hands clasped, prayers were lifted for guidance and wisdom in navigating the challenges and opportunities that lay ahead. The Company sought divine favour in her endeavours, recognizing the importance of integrity, diligence and innovation in its business pursuits.

Intercessions were offered for the wellbeing of employees, their families and the broader community. Special prayers for rededication to work were made for our truck drivers. The congregation in a special way prayed for the director of this great company.  Request for strength in times of adversity, comfort in times of sorrow, and unity amidst diversity resonated throughout the gathering, underscoring the company’s commitment to fostering a culture of care and support.

As voices lifted in song and hearts swelled with faith a spirit of camaraderie and solidarity enveloped the assembly. In this sacred space, barriers dissolved, and bonds were strengthened, transcending differences in background, positions and creed.

The spiritual director pointed out some ill-behaviours among staff and beseech them to depart from such act. Of course a gathering like this won’t be complete without some words of encouragement from the director. He delivered a well articulated close remark, commending his employees for their dedication to work and request that the bad eggs redress their steps.

Closing the prayer with a resounding chorus of “AMEN”, participants departed with renewed resolve and uplifted spirits. Inspired by the power of collective faith and assurance of divine providence, they returned to their respective roles with the sense of purpose and optimism, ready to face the week ahead with grace and fortitude.
